Lightweight, well-constructed, and affordable, it has the award-winning Kurzweil sounds, including Grand Piano (with stretched and nonstretched tuned versions), Dual-Hardness Tine Electric Piano, Ensemble Strings, Tonewheel Organ, and FM Electric Piano -- all in a variety of program variations. Overall, it provides 32 programs which offer a variety of splits and layered combinations with useful controller assignments. It transmits on 2 user-selectable, independent MIDI channels and has 2 independent MIDI zones (one internal, one external). Control provided by a pitch ribbon, mod ribbon, programmable slider, and programmable footswitch for single or dual pedal (single pedal included).
