Description
Before the teams take the field, this basic, one-speed, 12-volt blender gets the party going. Whip up margaritas, smoothies, and daiquiris or make dips for the chips right in the stadium parking lot. Waring is a respected name in blenders, so it's no surprise they were thoughtful enough to devise a bender that facilitates a movable feast. The key is the plug at the end of a 14-foot cord: it plugs into a vehicle's cigarette lighter. That means icy cocktails, ice-cream shakes, and other drinks can be fashioned on a tailgate or picnic table or anywhere a vehicle can go. The 6-cup, pitcher-shaped container is tough plastic so it can be dropped on asphalt without damage. Fully assembled, the blender stands 14-1/2 inches high on a 7-inch-diameter, bright chrome base. --Fred Brack
