I chose this thermometer, because I thought it was a brand I could trust. I was wrong. This thing is completely inaccurate. First of all,I have trouble getting it to even take a reading. When it does, it is always wrong. I bought it because my three year old had been sick for quite a while, and he was tired of me having to check his temp rectally. I've compared the temps, and the ear thermometer is way off every time. I noticed the inaccuracy, and decided when I used it, I should let it read about 5 times to get the most accurate temp. The problem is that it shows a different temp every time and none of them are even close to the rectal temp. So now, after wasting my money on this, I am still left checking rectally.
I am extremely dissapointed in this product and even more upset, because the package states no returns.

It died! Seemed to be fairly accurate. I can't say that it was the easiest to use. However, I liked that it did not require probe covers.

I find that when I use this thermometer on myself, I get an accurate reading each time I use it. When I use it on my 3-year-old, I can take his temperature 5 times in a row, and get a different reading each time... usually way below normal, like 96.2 degrees. I find that when I use it on myself, I really have to cram it all the way in my ear to get a good reading, and my toddler won't allow me, nor stay still for that. I wouldn't dream using this on my 13-month old... the tip is too big for infant ears.

All ear thermometers show low temps for infants. Even the one at my Pediatricians office was low. This unit was constantly one degree low but maintained only a one degeee difference.

It is inexpensive thermometer but the readings are not accurate! It gives different reading every time and the customer service is horrible.
