great product BG e2Thursday, April 28, 2005
this is a great product, just another one by canon. it mounts perfectly to the 20d and has great features. the only reason i gave it 4 stars not 5, is its a little heavy. other than that its a nice addition to the 20d. i would recomend it to anyone.

Don't operate a 20D without it!Wednesday, February 23, 2005
I think the guy that got the bad fit ordered the wrong grip. Mine fit like a glove and with the two battery capacity, it's a godsend. Even operating the lcd display all day, I never experienced any problem with batteries. What a step up!

Good grip - almost perfectMonday, February 21, 2005
I like the grip and have no fit problems. I just wish they'd included a rubber seal around the top of it to environmentally seal it and keep dust and moisture out of the space between the camera bottom and the grip.

No problems - great gripFriday, December 31, 2004
I don't have any of the fit problems that other users have described below. Perhaps Canon listened? Anyway, the fit is great, and this is an essential accessory for me because of the dual-battery capacity, and the included AA battery pack converter for emergencies. It gets 5 stars from me.

Pleasantly surprisedMonday, December 27, 2004
I upgraded to the Canon 20D from the Canon 300D with a BGE1 battery grip. The BGE1 fit and operated perfectly on the 300D. So, I was very leary about ordering the BGE2 for my 20D when I read the previous reviews on this product. But this is a necessary accessory for me and I finally buckled and purchased one. I can only surmise that Canon has corrected whatever deficiencies there may have been because my BGE2 fits and operates perfectly on my 20D. It is extremely snug with no gaps or looseness and none of the problems experienced by previous reviewers. I wouldn't be without this. Maybe Canon is listening!
