Bought mine back in August and listen to it almost every day, either in the car, at work, or occassionally at the house - we have access to the music channels through our Dish Network receiver so we rarely use the unit at home unless we're working in the yard.

The unit works as advertised and is slightly smaller than most other Sirius receivers. It does get as hot as the other ones, but not so much that you can't hold on to it when you need to. It fits comfortably in the hands and the buttons and menu are fairly easy to navigate with. Going up and down the channel selector is easy enough. Entering a specific channel to jump to is not quite as easy and requires you to pick the unit up so you can read the small numbers (0 tthrough 9) at the bottom of the screen and enter the three digit code by moving left or right across them as you select each of them.

I have not had any problems moving the unit around from vehicle to work to home and back because the Satellite and Terrestrial receivers and the FM Tranmitter in the unit are strong enough to be placed just about anywhere (within reason) and receive a usable signal. if you want a clean signal that doesn't fade in and out occassionally, you can do a permanent install, but then that defeats the purpose of having a portable unit.

I love the fact that you can plug a set of earphones directly into the unit so you can listen in private. I've found this option and the Audio Level adjustment to be particuarlly nice ones to have at work and the sound coming from the unit is pretty remarkable considering its size and the fact that there is no built in tone control. I have not had a chance to test any of the boomboxes or portable battery back for this unit, but will let everyone know about them when I do.

I have only had it for a few days, but love it already. Bought it with the universal kit which can be used at home or in the car. Works great in the car, you don't even need to put the antenna on the roof, great reception with it on the front dash or rear deck inside the car. The wireless FM transmitter works great and sounds wonderful and is part of the tuner not the base. Very compact size compared to the others on the Sirius market now. Online activation was very easy and worked like a charm as well!
