Not Doggystyle but closest to it in quality and styleSunday, April 10, 2005
This is a very good album by Snoop. There are really no weak points in the album and it was put together very well. Tracks produced by Dre were definitely the best on here but like I said this whole album is very good. I give it 4.5 stars.

3. What's My Name Pt.2-4/5

7. Set It Off-4/5(great to hear MC Ren again)

17. Leave Me Alone-4.5/5
18. Back Up Off Me-1/5(I hate No Limit. It's not a bad beat but I just hate the No Limit attitude and most of their music)
19. Y'all Gone Miss Me- 5/5( This is the best on the album. This is basically like a song you would hear on Doggystyle except you get a more mature Snoop here. This is Snoop at his best.

Good 5th solo albumFriday, November 05, 2004
Snoop's third and last release on No Limit is a little below his "Top Dogg" album but much better than his "Game Is To Be Sold.." album. Doesn't have that down south sound to it and he returned to a lot of the top producers from the West giving it more of his old sound that everyone loved. Jelly Roll, Scott Storch and Dr. Dre all produce 3 songs, Timbaland & Battlecat each do 2 songs, and Meech Wells, Soopafly and Carlos Stephens each do 1. It has 3 classics, 2 near classics, 5 ok songs and the others all are good. Features only 2 people from No Limit (Master P & Magic) and a few old heads from the west as well as a few of his pals and too many choruses by Kokane's whiny voice. A good album and one I'd recommend.
#2 - 8 (f/ Kokane)
#4 - 7
#5 - 7 (f/ kokane)
#6 - 9.5 (f/ Kokane)
#7 - 7.5 (f/ MC Ren, Ice Cube, Lady of Rage, Nate Dogg)
#8 - 7.5 (f/ kokane - intro dedicated to Bill Clinton)
#9 - 10 (classic - f/ Master P, Nate Dogg, Butch Cassidy, & Tray Deee & Goldie Loc {Eastsidaz} - talkin' bout ho's with big mouth)
#10 - 8.5 (f/ Suga free & kokane)
#12 - 10 (classic - address a few people maily his cousin Daz Dillinger)
#13 - 7.5 (f/ Kokane - again)
#14 - 8.5 (f/ Eve)
#15 - 8 (f/ Soopafly & Butch Cassidy)
#16 - 8
#17 - 10 (classic slower song w/ Snoop singing)
#19 - 8 (f/ Master P & Magic)
#20 - 9.5

Some Good WorkTuesday, August 24, 2004
Snoop Dogg has definitly change his style and flow over time. His voice has gotten lower and he has went to different record labels. But snoop always has a way of rising above all of the negatives and turning them into something positive. On snoops 5th solo album, Tha Last Meal, snoop finally puts forth a much needed good effort and a new sound. This album is about as good as snoops last no limit release, top dogg. The main positive about this album is the lack of no limit soldiers, which really brought down snoops previous releases. Screamers like Mystikal and Fiend have no place on any album and luckily are not found here. Snoop brought in some different producers for this one (including dr. dre) and really departed from the no limit sound found in Da Game is To Be Sold Not to Be Told. You could really tell that snoop had a lot more control over the production of this album and its much more west coast. Some of the beats are really clever as well. Now for a break down of all the songs on here:
1. Intro (1/5)- A skit, the album could have done without this
one
2. Hennesey n' Buddha (5/5) One of the best songs on here. Produced by Dr. Dre and snoop raps quickly, no guests, just straight up snoop. Kokane in refrain but he is actually decent.
3. Snoop Dogg (4/5)- This is part II of whats my name from doggystyle, not as good but definitly a good effort. The beat is kinda funky. Once again just snoop, no guests, which is all we want anyway, a good overall rap.
4. True Lies (3/5)- Produced by Dr. Dre so the beat is good, starts out with some recording of President clinton, not needed at all. Overall pretty decent song.
5. Wrong Idea (3/5)- This song is kind of over rated i think but its still good. Bad ass and snoop. gets kind of repetitive.
6. Go Away (5/5)- Very good song. Meaningful lyrics and good refrain. Solo snoop.
7. Set It Off (4/5)- Featuring MC Ren (is he still alive?), Lady of Rage, Nate Dogg. Nice west coast beat and some good guests really set this one off.
8. Stacy Adams (2/5) Not good at all. Very slow and useless lyrics. Skip immediatly.
9. Lay Low (5/5)- Featuring Nate Dogg, Butch Cassidy, Master P, Eastsidaz. Produced by Dr. Dre, best beat on album. Snoops first verse is killer. Even master P raps good on here.
10. Bring It On (4/5)- Really good song, too bad Kokane is in the refrain. Snoop dogg raps good on this one although not a solo.
11. mack Bible (0/5)- This is a stupid skit i have never listend to the whole thing. Skip it. why is this crap on here?
12. Issues (4/5)- Short song but to the point. Snoop raps over good beat. lyrics are meaningufl too.
13. Pump Yo Brakes (3/5)- Kind of bad song but overall its alright. Lyrics are meaningless.
14. Ready to Ride (3/5)- Ft, eve. Snoop does good on this one and beat is tight. beat however repeats for like 1.5 minutes with no words.
15. Loosen Control (5/5)- One of the best ones on here. Snoop and butch cassidy rap about woman problems. Porch chilling music.
16. I Cant Swim (3/5)- Snoop is good but annoying Sir Dogg voice brings it down. Probably should skip.
17. Leave Me Alone (4/5)- Snoop singing! Very good refrain is catchy. Unexpected but great song.
18. Back Up On Me (2/5)- Features no limit soldiers, which will bring down any song. Beat is not that great snoop lyrics are totally useless.
19. Yall gon miss me (5/5)- Very good song. about people missing snoop when he retires. Lyrics good, slow song but still flows well.
