Platinum Certified 5 Stone Shared-Prong Band (1 1/2ct tw, G, VS2)
Stone Information
  • Stones: Round-cut diamonds, .30 carats, very good cut, minimum G color rating, minimum VS2 clarity rating

Description
This gorgeous 5-diamond band is a sweet way to recognize an anniversary or spice up a special occasion. The band is made of durable platinum and has a smooth finish that fits comfortably on the finger. Along the top of the band is a row of five diamonds, each one sharing a platinum prong setting with the gem next to it. The diamonds are closely tucked together, making them seem to be more ample than their 1-1/2 carat total weight. The bright satin finish of the platinum garners attention and makes this ring versatile enough to wear with anything.

These are exceptional quality diamonds. With a minimum G color rating, they are in the upper-most range of near-colorless and appear dazzling white to the eye. They have a minimum clarity of VS2, meaning there are very small inclusions that are difficult to see under 10x magnification, and impossible to see with the unaided eye.

The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamonds are excellent to ideal, allowing maximum brilliance and fire. Nearly all of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, providing exceptional brilliance. The table percentage for these diamonds, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamond’s total width, is 51.4-59.5%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 58.5-64.5%. These excellent proportions allow angles that break light into rainbow colors, producing the dispersion or fire that makes diamonds so alluring.
