2 of 5 stars  how do you stop it from sliding?
Saturday, April 23, 2005
I still have my 6 year old in a traditional convertible car seat--now only with the shoulder/lap belt. I use the above booster seat as an extra for my husband's car or babysitter's car. However, i have been uncomfortable with both of them, especially the graco booster, because i can't get the seatbelt to stay tight and both seats slide all over the place when you make a simple turn. My daughter also thinks it is funny that she can wiggle to make both seats slide. In the booster, she also pulls the shoulder stap down around her waist--my friends have this problem too (at least she cannot do this with the traditional convertible seat because the shoulder strap adjuster holds it in place(she could move it if she thought of how to do it!!). Is it possible to make things stay in place? Or does anybody know of a traditional seat whose chest straps are comfortable for a 6 year old, 50 lbs, 48" in height??? She still fits in and uses the traditional seat in my car--but she outgrew the chest straps.

4 of 5 stars  TurboBooster Youth Booster Seat
Wednesday, February 23, 2005
My 7 year old had been using his booster seat for about 2 years now. He is able to connect the seat belts perfectly, while in his seat. I love the light weight, easy to clean, removable pads, and removable cup holders. I use a underpad to prevent indentations on my leather seats. My son really appreciates being able to see out the windows on long rides. On long rides he always seems to falls asleep, and that is when I wished I had the back and head support.
I was wondering if I am able to purchase the back support part separatly?

4 of 5 stars  Good seat for older child
Monday, January 24, 2005
I have read all of the reviews written on this seat and I have to comment. I have this seat for my 6 and a half year old daughter. I also have a 4 year old and I feel that she is just too young for it. The child needs to be tall enough that the seat of the car supports their back. It is not worth risking a younger childs safety to purchase this seat.

4 of 5 stars  4 year old, needs help with the belt positioning tether
Sunday, November 28, 2004
I have had this for a few months, my 4 year old has just moved up to it. Shannon could buckle herself into her old seat and took much pride in doing so. Now that she has her new big girl seat I need to help her with The belt positioning tether. This can cause some hurt feelings. THe tether works really well and she is very comfortable in this seat, but the fact that she can't get the fit by herself is a downfall.
