5 of 5 stars  Great Ride!
Wednesday, March 30, 2005
I just received this stroller and was amazed at how easy it is to handle. I have a two year old and another due very soon. We actually purchased the stroller through another website (since they offered a free rain cover and shipping for a few dollars less than here) and decided to get the grey/red color scheme which I really like since we already have a navy blue stroller (a Peg Venezia which we use and love).
Since I already have a stroller with a small basket and no cup holder, it is not and issue that this one also is the same. The most important feature for me was ease of movement. We have tried many other strollers (both side-by-side and tandem) and this one handles the best, though I do like the Peg Aria too, but for the price, I decided the Twin Swift would be a better option for us.
I can not comment on durability yet, but it seems very sturdy and the ride is great!!! I can't wait until number two gets here so we can use it.

1 of 5 stars  Disappointed
Thursday, February 10, 2005
I bought this stroller a few months ago for my two boys, ages one and two, based on the reviews I read here. Although it looks nice, I have found it very inconvenient to use. Of course, all double strollers are heavier than singles, but I found this one to be particularly heavy and cumbersome. It doesn't fold up or open easily at all, and takes up a significant amount of space in its resting position. The metal folding joints are always pinching my fingers. The hoods pop off constantly, and I have found that I really miss the child trays and adult cupholders on the singles. My boys are of average size, but always look very cramped next to each other, and can never wait to get out of this stroller. Although more expensive, I may try the Peg Perego Aria Twin...it is considerably lighter and appears much easier to fold/unfold.

1 of 5 stars  It lasted 3 months

I liked the convenience of this stroller, the size and side by side option, HOWEVER, it did not stand up to everyday use. (note that it did not come with instructions) The front brakes no longer work so the only way I can get it to move is by pulling it. It has bends in several places and no longer folds properly. This is from only getting my 20lb and 30lb children and getting it in and out of the car, also 1 airplane ride. I am disappointed in the quality. I paid $250 and feel like I wasted my money.

4 of 5 stars  Great stroller!
Monday, February 07, 2005
Well I did a lot of online research, read every review on every site I could find about strollers. I narrowed my search down to a couple strollers:
1. Peg Perago Aria side by side
2. Maclaren
3. Duorider by graco

The Aria was very very pricey, since this was my 5th stroller purchase since my now 3 year old daugther was born, I could not justify spending more than $350 on this stroller.
The Maclaren had some negative reviews and seemed so bulky when I saw it in the store.
The Duorider seemed like a great choice but no cupholders, and it was wider than this stroller which gave me some pause on purchasing that one. Plus I have a tandem graco the duoglider which is a beast - heavy, hard to control and just a real pain so that kind of turned me off to graco.

So I chose this very stroller for the following reasons:
1. Price (compared to peg perago and maclaren)
2. Slimmer than all other side by sides, good for store and doorway navagation.
3. Baskets under stroller, need when shopping with two little ones.
4. Reclining seats

Pros:
It's kind of on the heavy side but being able to fold it so small makes up for that. It could easily fit into a car trunk, I have a truck but was still looking for something that folded up smaller and didn't take up the whole back.
My girls love being able to sit next to one another. Slim and able to navagate the isles in the local stores.

Cons:
I wish it had a snack tray for each of the kids and a cup holder as well but the strollers with that feature had other things I did not like about them which ruled them out.
The basket is a mesh which does not seem like it will hold anything heavy.

I got this stroller for $185 so I am a little surprised that babiesrus is charging so much for it, then you also have to pay the over sized shipping fee on top of the $199. I only paid a flat shipping rate and that was included in the $185 on babyage.com. I got the stroller very quickly as well.
It was all put together except for the hood which was easy to attach. I think it will take awhile to get used to opening and closing it but that can be said with any new product.

We were really looking for a quality stroller that will not take up much space when we drive across country or when we want to put groceries in our truck (expedition). This stroller fits the bill.

5 of 5 stars  Can you use this stroller with a newborn?
Friday, September 24, 2004
Hi - can someone tell me if this stroller is usable with a newborn (does it fully recline)? I hate those big, bulky double strollers, but want to make sure my 2-yr-old will be comfy and my newborn will not roll sideways/forward. Thanks in advance!
