Josh Groban, "Live at the Greek" Saturday, May 14, 2005
I received this DVD set for mother's day. My daughter and I are both fans. Although we loved everything he has recorded before, this concert isn't worth watching. Josh Groban's voice was very nasal, and very different in many selections. His new style just doesn't suit him. I'm not a granny either, I'm a young mom. I'm sure he will continue to have fans that enjoy this type of singing and music. I just found it very unappealing.

Massive Disappointment from Josh GrobanMonday, April 25, 2005
My husband's sister's brother's kid bought this DVD. We all went to four concerts and paid massive amounts of money, which of course makes us very fair in our evaluation of this concert DVD. It's always a good idea to come here and dismiss other reviews and reviewers (up to 300 of them) because I like the guy. So here goes. I was massively disappointed with Josh Groban's "Live at the Greek" DVD set. I read over 300 reviews and noticed that the first ones were from "Grobanites" who gave 5-star reviews BEFORE the concert was aired or released for sale. That of course is fair and impartial. So Anyone who does not agree with this is not????
Tough.
Hundreds of reviewers here repeat the same issues that I had with Groban's performance. He's NASAL.

Very Disappointing and Not Like Josh Groban!Monday, April 25, 2005
I've been to two of Josh Groban's concerts during this tour and have loved both of them. I watched this one on PBS but didn't buy the DVD because it is NOT a worthy release for Josh. His voice is lovely and usually perfection. It isn't during this particular performance. I can understand why so many people were disappointed. I was too. If you love Josh Groban, perhaps it would be best to wait until his next studio release. I have everything he's done, and multiples of them too. I have to admit that I was at a loss as to why Reprise would release this one. I've noticed low reviews here and on Barnes & Noble. So there are many other sites and people from all walks of life who either bought it or saw it on PBS, and didn't care for it. To sae part is that Josh is a hardworking singer. Is singing is rarely like this. His concerts are terrific in person. This is not.

This Josh Groban DVD is LousyMonday, April 25, 2005
I just bought Josh Groban's concert DVD and I have to say that it is truly lousy. It's a mess. Groban's voice, the lack of good sound quality, the visual sloppiness all add to one miserable purchase for me. It's also one I'm not likely to repeat.

DisappointingSunday, April 24, 2005
I own every Josh album, I've seen him in concert... twice, I absolutely love his voice, but his management should have cancelled this concert until his voice was up to par. While I am glad to have bought the CD, and I love his cover of America on it and his drum scene, he DOES NOT sound this bad in concert. If you watch the Tonight Show and other live performances leading up to this show, his voice was pretty poor. This album reflected the same. His management should have given him a few days or weeks of rest and rescheduled the show when his voice was better. Sorry Josh, but I know you sound much better than this usually.
