An album that's definitely Celine all the way...Friday, April 15, 2005
What a fantastic way to leave her fans anticipating more before Celine took a well-earned break to start a family with her husband! The best of the best together with some amazing new tracks that showcase the sheer scope of Celine's sensational talent (and also present a sneak-peek of Celine's future foray into experimenting with different styles vocally and musically with "A New Day Has Come" and "One Heart.")
Best of the Best - it wouldn't be a true tribute to Celine without the mega-smash-hit ballads 'Beauty and the Beast', 'My Heart Will Go On', 'Because You Loved Me', 'The Power of Love' and 'Think Twice'. Listening to this album now in 2005 just proves how timeless these tracks are. Now that the Titanic Hangover is over, have another listen to "My Heart Will Go On" and you may finally appreciate what a truly beautiful song it is. The inclusion of the breathtaking "All By Myself" and "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" (Celine's first English-language hit) into this collection would have made it perfect.
Amazing New Tracks - not only are the 7 new tracks a true reflection of just how talented Celine is, they also remind me of a very special time in my life (the last couple of months of 1999 into early 2000), so I'll always hold a soft spot for them, as I played them almost constantly through that period.
7. To Love You More - a new song for me, as it wasn't included on any previous Australian releases. Taro Hakase's hauntingly beautiful violin perfectly compliments Celine's soaring vocals. 7/10
10. That's the Way It Is - a truly uplifting song that would make even the most broken-hearted person believe that love will find them again one day. It's such a feel-good song and never fails to put a smile on my face every time I hear it. I don't know if it helped my appreciation of the track that I was single at the time...? 10/10
11. If Walls Could Talk - Sexy, sultry, mesmerizing masterpiece penned by Shania Twain's musical genius husband Robert 'Mutt' Lange. If you have the All The Way DVD, be sure to check out the video clip - it is just as gorgeous as the track itself. Celine and the set are simply beautiful! 9 and a half/10
12. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - better known for her soaring, big voice, Celine's vocals are soft, sweet and tender and do Roberta Flack's stunningly beautiful classic amazing justice. Made even more special by her dedication to husband Rene when sung live on the All The Way TV special. 8 and a half/10
13. All The Way - a big fan of the ol' Crooners, I was really excited when I found out Celine would be doing a 'duet' with Frank Sinatra on this album. Vocally, it is just stunning, but the seemingly synthesized music disappointed me a little. Perhaps if it was sung with a band or orchestra, it would have been a lot more magical. 7/10
14. Then You Look At Me - Celine again collaborates with James Horner and together they create another magical song for a movie (Robin Williams' Bicentennial Man)that showcases Celine's sensational vocals no end. Beautiful lyrically, as well, with a song about how troubles fade away just by looking into the eyes of a loved one. 10/10
15. I Want You To Need Me - my favourite track on the album (and favourite Celine song ever until 'I Know What Love Is' from One Heart) - powerful, passionate, heartfelt song about desperate longing for someone. The achingly-tragic desperation in Celine's strong, soaring voice reflects my own emotions at the time (yep, been there, done that!) 11/10!!!!
16. Live - A beautiful rendition of the lead track from the musical The Hunchback of Notre Dame that is both tender and powerful at the same time - something Celine can do with the utmost ease. 9/10
All in all a sensational show-case of one of the most incredibly talented performers of all time. No Celine fan should be missing this compilation from their collection!

All the Way - A Decade of Boring SongsSaturday, April 02, 2005
Celine Dion is perhaps the most overrated female singer in the world! She's ugly, lacks any real talent, and worst of all, sings nothing but love songs! I hate love songs. There are millions & millions of songs out there that are about love, and when I constantly hear songs that are about the same subject every time, it gets annoying. There are better than to sing about besides love. I like Marilyn Manson and David Bowie. They sing about all kinds of cool stuff!

This skinny girl is not talent and why she's keep getting millions and millions for what?? her weak voice, her ugly face...?? I really don't understand what's so special about her. None of the songs are worth listen to more then 5 seconds. She will be forgotten in 2 years.
