Audiovox's slender, silver D1812 portable DVD player features an 8-inch widescreen (16:9 aspect ratio) LCD designed to match the image dimensions of your favorite movies. It's compatible with DVD-Video, audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3-encoded music discs. You can even enjoy an onscreen slideshow of your cherished digital photos from recordable CDs filled with JPEG image files. The player comes with switchable audio/video input/output jacks, letting you use it on the road for monitoring camcorder footage or gaming devices, or in the home as a high-quality video source device using the supplied AV cables. The D1812 also comes with an AC adapter and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides around 2 hours of playback (power consumption depends on the operations of the player, such as screen brightness, volume level, etc). Perfect for road use, D1812 includes a vehicle DC power adapter so you can save batteries on long trips. Listen through the unit's built-in stereo speakers or through headphones (not included).
