Product Description
Henckels Premier Series Earl 45-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 8
Description
Heavy enough for everyday use and elegant enough for company, this flatware suits any occasion and then goes into the dishwasher. It's made of durable 18/10 stainless steel, polished to a mirror finish. Substantial length (9-inch knives), width, and heft qualify it as European size--the kind of flatware that might be found in an upscale bistro. This Earl pattern features handles that turn down at their ends, contributing a contemporary look. The 45 pieces break down into complete table settings for 8 plus a 5-piece "hostess" set of serving pieces. A single setting consists of knife, fork, soup spoon, salad fork, and teaspoon. The hostess set consists of 6-inch sugar spoon, 7-inch butter knife, 8-1/2-inch serving fork, 8-1/4-inch serving spoon, and 8-1/4-inch pierced serving spoon. Properly cared for, this flatware should last a lifetime and beyond. --Fred Brack

4 of 5 stars  Good for the money

Overall a nice product, but I have noticed that this flatware seems to get more "spotty" in the dishwasher than my previous set. Also, a few of the knives have developed rust-like blemishes where the handle meets the blade, but it's hardly noticeable. This is definately nicer than my previous cheap set, but it doesn't have the same heft or "quality feel" that the my Heirloom Oneida flatware has. Overall, I love the way this flatware looks, and it has very nice serving pieces included in the set.

5 of 5 stars  My husband and I love these!

Just got them in the mail today, and we love them! Nice weight, and great look. My husband wanted to buy another set of Martha Stewart flatware at the big K, but once he saw these he liked them. Great price with the "no shipping" costs!
Don't hesitate!

5 of 5 stars  going back for more

As the spokesperson from the kitchen of a family of five(which includes boys and their friends that use flatware to fix paintball guns, play extreme outdoor games, and use spoons to open locked doors, etc.), I have to say this has been great tableware for us. No dings, dents, or rust. I've had this set for over four years, and it still looks great. It's time to fill in lost pieces that are somewhere out in the yard . . .

5 of 5 stars  Elegant & Understated

This set is great...the weight is wonderful, & the style mixes well with other styles of plates. I have owned it for 6 months without any signs of the aforementioned rust...& I always throw it in the dishwasher. I, too, am ordering another set to replace any damaged or lost ones in the future, & to make sure I have enough for guests.

5 of 5 stars  love the size and weight

We have been looking for a while for new everyday flatware. Balancing price with the desire for a weighty feel and the desire for oversized Euro flatware; Earl suits us just fine. We bought two sets and they go in the dishwasher. No problems so far with rust as others have mentioned??? Maybe there was a defective run?? I will be on the lookout for that but so far I love the look and feel of this weighty oversized pattern. Just wish I could get more speciality pieces in the same pattern.... iced tea spoons and such..... oh well the pattern is simple enough to mix well with others
