4 of 5 stars  Attractive and Does the Job!
Thursday, March 24, 2005
I went to BRU to try and purchase the all rubber Lionheart seat protector and they didn't have it. I was pretty much dead set against this one because of the "professionals" review. Well, (with help from the guy from BRU, we took this one out of the package and pulled my car seat off of the display. We then tried it out on the seat that they have available at BRU for just such tests. It was fine. I just installed it in my vehicle (Envoy XL) it doesn't have the largest seats in the world and this fit just fine. No, it didn't completely cover the back of the seat, but it wasn't made to. Most indentations occur on the seat bottom and the mid section of the seat. This covers all of that just fine. I don't know why the "professional" says that this protector is too thick...it isn't thick at all. Go to BRU and have one of their friendly folks do a demonstration. I give it 2 thumbs up!

5 of 5 stars  A MUST HAVE!!
Monday, March 14, 2005
I bought a new car with leather seats about a month ago. I was afraid of the both my childrens car seats making dents in the leather. I bought this saver for that sole purpose! Now, I am so glad I did. Not only does it keep my leather dent free but it collects all the crumbs and juice spills that the kids leave behind. I noticed the review before mine was a professional car seat installer and felt that it kept the car seat from being installed correctly. After four years of putting in and out 2 car seats I dont feel like that at all. My car seats are in correctly and I love this two stage car seat protection and would of paid double for it. Just make sure you are familiar with your car seat and that your car is not to small because this protector is wide. (Thank Goodness) This will from now on be one of my baby gifts that I give at showers. I wish I would of known about this with my cloth seats before. It would of saved a lot of elbow grease!!
I hope this will be helpful to everyone like it has been for me.

1 of 5 stars  Doesn't Fit on Seat
Wednesday, March 09, 2005
I recently purchased a Town and Country minivan with leather captain's seats in the middle row. I purchased this seat protector to keep the leather in good condition, free from dents and scratches. Unfortunately, the bottom portion of the protector is too wide to sit on the seat and I am unable to use it. I will be returning it today and hope to find a better fit in another product.

1 of 5 stars  Back portion not high enough
Wednesday, February 16, 2005
My daughter's Graco booster seat headrest made a depression on my car's leather seat, so I bought this seatsaver. But I found the back portion useless. It is not high enough and does not cover the entire back. The bottom tray also slides while turning corners, even when my daughter is sitting on the booster seat. I am using a woolen cloth behind the car seat headrest to prevent the depression.

I have the Super Mat car seat protector on my other car with cloth interior, it does not have the back portion as high as this one, but it is much better than this seatsaver. The super mat also works great on leather seat and does not slide.

5 of 5 stars  great product
Saturday, February 12, 2005
We have these in both of our cars. I feel that my car seat is installed even tighter with this product underneath it. I have a 21 month old, and the lip on this seat protector is great at collecting all the fallen "snacks" that she eats when we're on the go. We had horrible impressions in both of our cars after we took out the bases from our infant car seat, but using this seat protector with the "big car seat" has made all the difference in the world for our leather seats.
