Save your money - WAY too small and don't wash wellThursday, February 10, 2005
These receiving blankets are tiny. They are barely long enough to swaddle my baby (you can't really tuck the blanket under the baby to get it tight enough) and in 2 seconds she can wriggle out of it, which defeats the purpose of swaddling. I have an average sized baby, so I imagine that many people would have this problem. They didn't wash well either, pilling a bit after the first wash. I thought the Koala Baby brand was much better since the blanket was longer and thus kept my daughter better wrapped.

this is the best of the recieving blankets I was able to find . Size and quality is just right and so is the price. Must have for a baby.

Great for the Little ThingsSaturday, August 21, 2004
When I say "great for the little things" I mean nearly everything! We used these blankets to swaddle our daughter when she was just a little thing and I use them all the time to clean up her little messes. They're thin, but don't let that deceive you - they roll up nicely and fit perfectly into diaper bags!

Best receiving blanket we've found!Sunday, July 25, 2004
1. Toughest receiver we've found!
2. Doesn't curl, shrink or lose it's shape in the wash. (like most receiving blankets)
3. Is thicker than most blankets and yet still a cool cotton material.
4. Keeps its color (even after 12 months of use)!
5. Goes well with everything!
6. Regular Receiving blanket size, my only wish is that they were made bigger for longer babies!
We purchased 3 packages (12 blankets total) and only had one receiving blanket unravel on us. The rest are still in fabulous condition - even after 12 Months. We can only assume, the one blanket had a fault in the material or was damaged by laundry chemicals when we washed it!
Excellent blankets, definitely recommend!

I don't anything could destroy theseMonday, June 28, 2004
Sturdy, thick, just a really good all-purpose piece of material. I normally tend to use them for burp rags more than anything else (though with a baby anything becomes a burp rag real quick, including the shirt you're wearing). However, since they aren't porous like knit material, they are surprisingly insulative. The soft slightly fuzzy texture (especially after a few good washes) is wonderful too. I've been impressed that I've washed mine several dozen times already, and during a issue with thrush, in hot water... they still look brand new.
