Very relaxing. Great for meditation!Tuesday, July 23, 2002
I lost my original CD of this music, and have purchased a second copy. I used this music for my first attempts at meditation. I found it so relaxing and "free-ing." Very inspiring.

Rather boring.....Friday, October 06, 2000
I can only speak for myself, but I was disappointed. I don't want to be critical, but my impression of Tracks #1, #2, #3, #5, and #6 is that Mr. Rhodes is going up and down in fluffy arpeggios on an electric piano. They all sound the same. Little creativity, no profundity, drama, or mystic quality. I only liked Track #2 and Track #7 (no electric piano) of the whole seven. I dunno.... Everybody's taste is different. Maybe you'll like it.

Healing Music for the more traditional listenerSaturday, March 18, 2000
I can't remember now where I first heard Stephen Rhodes "Music for Healing" , but I felt an instant connection. After searching several music web sites I was happy to find it and purchase it for my collection. The original purpose was to use this in my Healing Touch and stress management practice. In addition to this I find myself using it to unwind and relax myself. I have also given it as gifts to several friends who have been as enthusiastic as I. Much of the music used in practices such as mine seem to be of a more "nebulus" quality. I, personally do not care for too much oriental flute music or music with a Native American flavor (drumming etc). I have used some classical music in my practice but this CD seems to bridge the gap for me. I just purchased Rhodes' "First Love" .
