5 of 5 stars  Another great Jackie Chan Movie
Wednesday, May 04, 2005
Even though it seems like so many people bash the sequels, I thought this was a great movie. Yes the plot may have been like the first one but why the heck are you watching a Jackie Chan movie if you're looking for fantastic plot? The movie is fast paced, has alot of good action sequences and always has another funny expression or remark around the corner. If you like Jackie, I really think you would like this movie.

5 of 5 stars  Movie You Can't Miss
Sunday, April 03, 2005
Rush Hour 2 is just one of those movies you see again and again and wish you'd never seen them, just so you can watch them again and again without being sick of them. It starts out leading off from the original Rush Hour, with Tucker and Chan driving down a Hong Kong street. Some US Mint plates are stolen. And a rich man opens a casino. A trap is set, and Chan gets revenge on the man who killed his father a long time ago. The dialogue between Tucker and Chan is hillarious. Also, I cant even tell you what funny scenes occur in here, they are too spread out and too diverse(which is good because too much of a type of joke is bad. ex. Chris Rock). The producers did an excellent job with the dialougue between the two characters. Tuckers misunderstanding of the Chinese culture is terribly funny. The action scenes are outstanding and funny. Buy.

2 of 5 stars  Black Man + Chinese Man = One Hilarious Movie
Friday, March 25, 2005
This is a hilarious movie because it has a Black man and a Chinese man in the lead roles.
We don't usually see people from these two ethnic groups interacting.
And therein lies the premise of the movie.
I've got some ideas for Rush hour 3. How about teaming an Eskimo with an Australian Aborigine.
Or how about a crusty veteran Swedish policeman teamed with an eager rookie cop who just happens to be a Yanomamo Indian from Brazil.

The movie practically writes itself:

{Sven (the Swedish cop) turns on the radio}
Sven: Let's listen to ABBA.
Kobali (the Yanomamo Indian Cop): Oh hell no. You didn't just touch my damn radio!
Sven: ABBA is great Swedish music.
Kobali: ABBA is gonna get you a great ass whuppin', don't you ever touch a Yanomamo Indian's radio, boy! You can do that in Sweden but you can get your ass killed out here, man.

{Kobali tried to pick up girls in Swedish}
Kobali: All I did was invite them to have a drink.
Sven: You invited them to get naked and sacrifice a small goat.
Kobali: Which word was 'goat'?

{During a fight scene with a bunch of Swedes after accidentally punching Sven}
Sven: Kobali, why did you hit me!
Kobali: All y'all's look alike!

3 of 5 stars  Too much like the first one...
Sunday, February 27, 2005
I thought that the movie was good, but it suffers from Jackie trying to act like Tucker did in the first one... The Beach Boys in one example when Tucker lobs the CD out the car window. Tt seems that Lee was a big head in this one... Carter was really wanting a vacation, but ends up in a big case involving a man that likes bombs and cold blooded murder.

The nice thing about the movie is that we get to see Chris Tucker duke it out at the massage parlor and with the chick at the casino. Other then that it could have done better without the rectcled lines from the first film...

5 of 5 stars  when is the 3 movie coming out
Friday, February 04, 2005
Both Rush Hour flicks were good but when is the third one coming out. Jackie Chan is in his 50'S and I have heard nothing about RH3(he is still doing his own stunts). Homeboy Chris Tucker hasn't been in a movie since RH2. What the hell is wrong with Hollywood now-a-days.

Peace Out
