"The Rugbys Meet Lazarus" This re-print album of thethe Rugbys Billboard climbing record, "Hot Cargo", is moreand likely one of the best classic rock albums to date.. If you were ahippie head back in the day, maybe you'll remember the song "You,I". The song hit number 19 on Billboard and remained there forquite some time.. The Rugbys toured with such bands as : .... HotCargo, under Shelby Singleton's label, " ... Records",consisted of the strange, organ and keyboard melodies of Eddie Vernon,The solid, independant, bass playing of Mike Hoerni, the rapid groovesof Glen Howerton, and the amazing songwriting capabilities as well asthe sharp guitar playing, solos, and tones, of Steve McNicol.. Thealbum can be described in 4 words.. "Ahead of it'stime".. Keep in mind, they were competing with rock greats like,..., and all of those guys.. ifthe album came out right now, and if people who bought albums actuallyknew anything about Musicality .....
