Product Description
Platinum Certified Princess Cut Diamond Solitaire Pendant (1/3ct, G, VS2)
Description
The authority of this diamond solitaire pendant is enhanced even further by the thin chain it rests on. Falling to just below the collarbone, this flirty necklace is certain to be noticed and should be worn with pride. The 1/3 carat princess-cut diamond sits on the point and is held within a platinum four-prong basket setting that shines bright with its smooth finish. Attached to the setting is a platinum bale that slides on the 18-inch-long platinum chain; alternatively, the setting can be transferred to another chain of choice. A lobster claw clasp keeps the necklace securely fastened. This is an elegant pendant that can be worn frequently and with almost anything--it is certain to be a favorite accessory.

These are exceptional quality diamonds. With a minimum G color rating, they are in the upper-most range of near-colorless and appear dazzling white to the eye. They have a minimum clarity of VS2, meaning there are very small inclusions that are difficult to see under 10x magnification, and impossible to see with the unaided eye.

The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamonds are excellent to ideal, allowing maximum brilliance and fire. Nearly all of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, providing exceptional brilliance. The table percentage for these diamonds, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamond’s total width, is 51.4-59.5%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 58.5-64.5%. These excellent proportions allow angles that break light into rainbow colors, producing the dispersion or fire that makes diamonds so alluring.
