Great Instrumental Hits-Vol.2Thursday, January 24, 2002
I already had most of these cuts on other collections. "Blues Theme" by Davie Allan and the Arrows is what led me to purchase this cd. It's a great instrumental, but you probably won't hear it on the radio today! I also like "No Matter What Shape", "Memphis", "Surfer's Stomp", and the two cuts by the Ventures. However,I prefer the Bill Justis recording of "Raunchy" to the Ernie Freeman version found here. As for the "Red River Rock" by Johnny and the Hurricanes: "F'get about it!"
