Description
This 20-inch TV from Philips has a RealFlat flat-screen picture tube for distortion- and reflection-free viewing, a digital comb filter that separates color and brightness information for increased clarity, and component-video input for connection to high-resolution devices such as DVD players. The stereo sound system features two built-in full-range speakers with IncredibleSurround (which creates a wider, deeper-feeling listening area), and support for connecting a home theater audio system. The 20PT6441/37 features automatic settings--AutoPicture and AutoSound--that add further convenience. AutoPicture allows you to customize how the TV optimizes the brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness settings using five presets. AutoSound adjusts sound levels automatically in keeping with one of its four presets, and the TV features auto volume leveling to avoid jarring increases in sound. The set also includes Closed Captioning display and V-Chip based parental controls to keep kids from watching what they shouldn't. The included QuadraSurf universal remote control features four sets of ten customizable buttons, which can be assigned to four themes or four family members and can take you directly to up to 40 TV programs. The 20PT6441/37 offers the best possible connections for high-resolution input--component video for connecting such things as a DVD player with superb detail and reduced color noise, S-video for other high-quality connections such as satellite receivers and game consoles, standard composite video in/out, and an RF connection.
