This is one of the most inovative and unique hip-hop albums I've heard all year. The beats are tight and the album is loaded with conscious lyrics for those of you not down with all hype. He includes some great hip hop artists like Zion I and Yejide - the Night Queen. I am a hip hop DJ and this album has been getting mad airplay on our station. It gets the highest marks and is my number one choice for new artists coming up this year. You will not be disappointed!

Baba comes out with a mellow,laid-back hip hop CD. He has an excellent mindset and a positive attitude. I saw this guy live a few months ago and his freestyle abilities are amazing. He is also one of the most talented musicians I have ever witnessed. His ability to beatbox while playing the flute and his skills with the didgeridoo are amazing. This is a great CD that is a little reminiscent of something like the Roots, that kind of flavor. Definitely worth it to purchase Baba's Mind Music.
