Antichi Sapori del Sole was established in 1972. Only the best ingredients are used for their pastas. Grains from specially cultivated sun-drenched hills near Gargano; secret blends of semola (semolina) and water, to form a dough, which is hand kneaded and softly pressed into antique bronze dies giving the pasta its typical rough texture, which assures full flavor with all types of sauces. Strozzapreti literally translates to priest stranglers.
