Slowest Toaster I've Ever SeenSaturday, April 30, 2005
This is the slowest toaster I've ever seen. I've owned this toaster for about a year and one side has already quit working. I expected more for the money.
Nearly Worthless...Sunday, July 18, 2004
As stated in one of the other reviews, you have to stick your fingers in to get untoasted bread out. It's untoasted because, even at the highest setting, the bread is not toasted. As in, no color change whatsoever. It's warmer than when I put it in, but not toasted at all. I, too, am still looking for a good basic toaster. Don't buy this one unless you just think it's pretty, because it certainly doesn't work. I'm now stuck with a pretty, expensive paperweight with a long tail.

Great Commercial Toaster for your HomeThursday, July 08, 2004
Purchasing from Amazon was fast, easy and reliable. I received my toaster 3 days before the estimated time and there was no problem with billing. This site's tracking system is second to none.
The toaster works great, looks great and will be the last toaster I will ever buy. Great value versus cheap toasters.

High Hopes!Monday, May 17, 2004
I looked forward to using this toaster only to find it took a long time to toast and one of the units never heated at all. All in all not a very good experience. Still looking for a good basic toaster.

Good Quality - 2 months of useFriday, March 05, 2004
Purchased this toaster after reading reviews on Amazon. Many reviews of other toasters were mixed, regardless of price.
I would RECOMMEND this toaster.
This toaster receives moderate use (family of 6). After 2 months we have had NO problems. The construction seems solid (not flimsy), and performance is consistent.
We mostly make toast, pop-tarts, bagels. It toast evenly on BOTH sides. It toasts consistently from the first slices to the last (as it heats up). The toaster looks nice.
No Complaints at all.
3 observations: 1- smaller bread requires you to lift the handle in order to get it out of the slot. 2- we tend to use settings between 1 and 2 most of the time. 3- the toaster body can get warm (not officially a "cool-touch" toaster - but we've had no trouble).
