One of the most appealing sound feelings that I get from this album is how [the doctors] strip the snare drum from all the puffed-up post studio effects, away from the phat-sounds fat. I love this album for its intensity, that pulls its strength to scream in your ear very much like a anorexic would intend to beat you senseless.

Skin is an amazing combination of avant-jazz, improvisation and thrashy guitar work. Doctor Nerve is all about disturbing the peace of music, and Skin is a fine example of their fiery power.
