5 of 5 stars  Here is another old school hit
Thursday, October 21, 2004
This SNP album is hot. I liked when I first listened to it. I think I was in the 5 or 6th grade. If you want some old school to listen to, this is a must have. Hits like "Get Up" and "Solo Power (Get Paid)" are most memorable.

4 of 5 stars  "Okay now here's the deal, Pep bust it..."

You HAVE to had grown up during the era of this album to TRULY appreciate it. I used to carry my radio around EVERYWHERE and play this TAPE, yes I said TAPE, ALL the time!! Salt n Pepa are true pioneers in the rap game that was, back then, dominated by men. With this being their sophomore album, it stil stands strong even today. Maybe it's just me being nostalgic and all, but I was feeling this album when it came out and if my tape hadn't worn out, I'd still be rockin' it today! So now I have to buy the CD...

5 of 5 stars  Other raters don't have a clue

I mean not counting the tracks that got air play, there are a number of good tracks that make this a worhty album. Tracks 4 & 10 display each ladies gift for mcing Spin does her thing on trackk 9. Then there's Tracks 7 and 12 come on people, actually listen to the music, don't just hear it. So that's eight tracks all together, more than half the album. Now days you may find two on most peoples' albums. You throw any one of these songs on at a party and I guarantee more than half the crowd will " Get Up " (the other half will be bobbing their heads to the beat.)C'mon people get with it !

3 of 5 stars  Not Cool or Hot

Salt N' Pepa's second album leaves a lot to be desired. The so-called hits on here do not measure up to the one from the first album or their later efforts.
