5 of 5 stars  It works!!! I am the proof.
Tuesday, April 26, 2005
I have to admit that at first I was skeptical of the whole "new age" thing, but I'm here to tell you that John is onto something. It took me quite a few times trying to get through the 40 days, but even when I didn't complete the process, I received blessings. My first incomplete attempt netted me $150 from a completely unexpected source. My second attempt happened when I was unemployed and upon completion of the 40 days I received a job offer at a salary of $50K. My next attempt helped gain me a raise of $25,000, which made my yearly salary $75,000. Thrilled with my results I tried it a third time and nothing happened instantly. However within the last 3 month I've seen my income go to $125,000! I attribute a lot of my success to God and hard work, but the book definitely helped me focus on the source of my prosperity and I'm proof that John's teachings work. There is no such thing as something for nothing, but if you believe and work hard towards your goals this book can help. Mr Randolph if you read this, Thank You!!!

1 of 5 stars  Don't believe the hype
Thursday, September 16, 2004
Based on various positive reviews, I was very eager to read this book. I read it from cover to cover and I'm disappointed. I completed the 40 day properity plan in February of this year. I took a leap of faith and followed the plan exactly by doing it over 40 consecutive days as the book requires. It took two attempts before I was successful. While I write this review seven months later, I have not received any financial blessings in my life. The promises of abundance did not come to pass. For the record, I am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ as my savior. I listen to religious programs on the radio and read the Bible from time to time. Just because a book mentions God doesn't mean it's any good. I should have known better.

1 of 5 stars  Head in the clouds?

Anyone who believes that reading this little book is the secret to wealth & happiness is probably so busy trying to find the end of that rainbow that they miss Ed McMahon when he comes to the door with your check. Chant away you freaks - the key to financial 'abundance' is not picking the right lottery numbers (although that would kinda work too) but in choosing the right career path, ie: a job that you actually have an interest and talent in, and finding a way to make it work for you. As my Dad always said, nothing in life is free. So please, people, put your feet on the ground, stop reaching for the stars, and take this long-distance dedication to heart - find what you're good at, be happy with your choice, put in the leg-work, and eventually abundance will find you. As for this little book, the only person to whom it brought abundance was the author.

4 of 5 stars  Is God Your Source of Abundance?
Thursday, February 05, 2004
If you believe in God (or in a Higher Power of any kind), then this book can help you to TRUST that God/Your Higher Power is the one, true source of your abundance.

Author John Randolph Price gives a quick compilation of "Prosperity Writings" in this little book, and then goes on to give the reader a "40 Day Prosperity Plan." The plan is basically a series of ten meditations that focus one's thoughts on GOD as the Source and Supply of all Abundance in one's life.

The book is well-done in that it is short, to the point, and sure to help a reader, provided, as I already said, that the reader has some belief in God/Higher Power.

I couldn't give it 5 stars because if a reader does NOT have the above mentioned belief, they won't get much from the book.

Still, good reading for those who want to approach Prosperity from a Spiritual standpoint.

1 of 5 stars  guess I am the only one

Who got a wierd, uncomfortable feeling from this book. I knew it was spiritual in nature, but didn't realize it was about attracting wealth and riches. I agree God is in charge of these things, but does he really distribute them to people who read a strange little book? (I am not a "spook", but this copy Was previously owned...who knows by whom?) I threw it in the trash at page 50.
